Look out Ayatollah and Ahmadinejad

I new the count of returning service men just didn't seem right.  It was as if some of them were still in the Mideast after Iraq.  I had heard they went to Kuwait.  Well surprise, 9000 of them are currently landing in Israel.  The name of the operation is Austere Challenge 12.  It is part of the largest joint US and Israel war game ever.

Is this a game changer after Iran's warning to stay out of The Strait of Hormuz?  Well this blogger says it is to allies acting like allies preparing and waving sabers at a world wide threat.  This not as much a game as it is a statement as many war games are.

On top of everything else great Britain who has for and against everything lately has made a commitment.  Yesterday, January 5, 2012 the British Secretary of Defense told the United States' think tank the Atlantic Council that the US and British would stop the closing of the Straits.  Forty Percent of the oil in the world flows through this area.  Iran accounts for 15% of the oil.

This may possibly be an attempt to fix the mess that Carter created when he help depose the Shau.  We got the Ayatollah Khomeni and a Islamic Theocratic Despot.  Let us not forget the holocaust denying President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  It could also mean a clear shot at taking care of any nuclear armaments that Iran has or may be planning.  Why would a country with 15% of the worlds oil need a nuclear energy plant?

Unfortuneately the pilot Ilam Roman from Israel died in the shuttle crash over Houston.  He was the youngest pilot in the operation that destroyed Iraq's nuclear facility.  No one would have know how to take the plant out in Iran with more skill.
